I drew this in my sketchbook last night, and used my
go to I am lazy and don't want to paint makers.  I like
using markers, they can get you that bright color pops you want, no
fuss no muss.  My friend is in the hospital again, and this
time I don't think she will make it out.  So of course she
has been on my mind, and in my dreams, I have been
having nightmares and wake up screaming, scare everybody in
the house including me (lol).  So I really haven't been getting
a lot of sleep.  So I haven't had a boat load of energy,so
I thought I would go on a long walk today and get my
motor running, and try to get some energy to face the rest of the day.
Tonight we are having skinny chicken enchiladas, they are delicious
I kid you not.  So if you want the recipe I will send it to you.

  1. Lee, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend...and about your nightmares. No wonder you don't have any energy. Stress takes a lot out of you. Try to be gentle with yourself and spend as much time with your friend as you can. You'll have lots of memories to carry with you. I wish I could be there with you and give you a hug. I'll keep you and your friend in my thoughts.

  2. So sorry to hear about your friend, there's only one thing to do and that's hoping for the best whatever that might be. Love your citygirl, and the one below is amazing. Sending you some warm thoughts.

  3. So sorry about your friend and your nightmares! Such a difficult time. This is such a gorgeous piece of artwork too. I hope your friend has been able to see your bright fun artwork. I hope you find peace in this situation! I also hope you do a large canvas of this piece too! I feel a series coming on! Sending love and light for you and your friend!
